Associate Electrical Engineer for spacecraft power subsystems, responsible for architecting, manufacturing, testing, and mission control operations. Requires basic knowledge of electrical engineering principles, Li-ion batteries, solar arrays, and power conditioning circuitry.

What you'd actually do

  1. Responsible for technical, cost and schedule performance of the space vehicle electrical power subsystem
  2. Applies electrical engineering principles to adapt or improve upon heritage features from previous successful designs
  3. Prepares and presents analysis material for design reviews & major customer meetings
  4. Analyze and architect spacecraft power avionics, batteries, and solar arrays by utilizing standard engineering and scientific principles
  5. Provide subcontractor technical and project management oversight to ensure delivery needs of the spacecraft

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 months of professional experience
  • Solid background and understanding of electrical engineering
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Broad technical expertise and working knowledge of other related disciples
  • Self starter in order to drive and see items through to closure within desired need dates

Nice to have
