What you'd actually do

  1. Supervise contractors and frontline staff on landscaping, tree care, irrigation, and pest control works.
  2. Coordinate sourcing and procurement of plant materials, spare parts, and horticulture services.
  3. Maintain accurate labor, scheduling, and inventory records.
  4. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  5. Respond to ad hoc operational issues as part of the horticulture duty roster.

Skills

Required

  • Higher Diploma in Horticulture or a related discipline
  • 1-2 years of relevant professional experience in horticulture, landscaping, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of ornamental plants, horticulture tools, and maintenance practices
  • Demonstrate awareness of workplace health and safety practices
  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, operational environment
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
