Role Responsibilities
- Drafting and reviewing employment and commercial matters.
- Assisting in providing accurate, relevant, and timely advice on legal (employment) topics.
- Assisting with the review and negotiation of client and commercial agreements, and supporting internal employment compliance efforts.
- Handling and assisting with a variety of other legal (employment) issues and projects as they arise.
Desired skills and competencies
- 2+ years of experience as an Italian attorney or inhouse Legal Counsel, advising corporate clients in Italy.
- Strong expertise in Italian employment law. Italian labour law master is a plus.
- Experience advising on cross-border employment.
- Excellent legal drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex legal concepts into practical business advice.
- Ability to balance legal risk with business priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams at all organizational levels.
- Prior experience in a global or multi-jurisdictional organization is a plus.
- High ethical standards and sound judgment in handling sensitive and confidential matters.
- Reviewing and assisting with product-led developments in Deel's offerings. Interest in working for a tech company is a must.
