What you'd actually do

  1. Source, evaluate, and manage strategic partnerships that strengthen DoorDash’s New Verticals product ecosystem
  2. Build relationships with key external partners, lead deal processes, and manage a portfolio of high-impact commercial and integration partnerships
  3. Help define partnership strategy by assessing market trends, identifying ecosystem gaps, and developing business cases that inform build, buy, or partner decisions
  4. Own business outcomes by translating data and insights into partnership strategies and operational plans that enable scalable growth
  5. Influence internal and external stakeholders by advocating for solutions that create value for merchants, partners, and DoorDash

Skills

Required

  • 5–7 years of experience in an external-facing role across business development, partnerships, strategy, consulting, operations, banking, tech, or a related field
  • Experience supporting or leading business negotiations, including commercial discussions and contract review processes
  • Experience bringing new products, partnerships, or business initiatives to market
  • Persuasive and effective at aligning partners and internal stakeholders around a shared opportunity
  • Strong ownership across multiple projects and workstreams, with the ability to move fluidly between strategy and execution
  • Strong analytical skills and comfortable using structured thinking and imperfect data to make sound recommendations
  • Solve problems from first principles and energized by tackling complex challenges in strategic and creative ways
