Associate Manufacturing Engineer role focused on ensuring reliable production, driving continuous improvement, and supporting the introduction of new technologies in a healthcare manufacturing environment. What you'd actually do

  1. Execute assigned engineering tasks and deliverables on time and to a high standard of quality.
  2. Support process and equipment validation activities, including Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), Performance Qualification (PQ), computer software validation, and test method validation.
  3. Contribute to process improvement initiatives using engineering principles and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.
  4. Assist with designed experiments, capability studies, data collection, and documentation of process specifications.
  5. Support equipment and instrument activities including programming, set-up, debugging, and troubleshooting.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related discipline
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and maintain consistent communication with internal and external project teams
  • Strong professionalism, ethical standards, and commitment to compliance
  • Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP)
  • Manufacturing

Nice to have

  • Master of Science degree in Engineering or related discipline
  • Prior manufacturing or co-op/internship experience in a regulated environment
  • Exposure to Lean and Six Sigma tools and methodologies
  • Familiarity with equipment, programming, and control systems such as PLCs, scripting, or instrument configuration
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, MATLAB, Python, and a foundation in statistical thinking
