The Boeing Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) Production Engineering Organization is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Engineer to support the B-1B Program. This position will be 100% onsite in Tukwila, WA.
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development, testing, certification, and integration of current and new production systems, ensuring efficient manufacturing processes.
Position Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies.
- Develop, identify, and implement conceptual designs and maintain the program architecture for build.
- Provide on-site engineering support; create, coordinate, and issue manufacturing plans for shop consumption.
- Foresee and prevent potential conflicts and risks associated with successful completion of work tasks/jobs.
- Conduct producibility and variation analyses to ensure manufacturing process capability matches requirements.
- Analyze design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions.
- Resolve technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost, or schedule.
- Coordinate and implement new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies, and concepts.
- Validate and ensure production readiness of solutions to complex problems.
This position will be 100% onsite in Tukwila, WA.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience):
- Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and quality requirements.
- Extensive background and experience in product design, fabrication, assembly, and structural testing within the aerospace industry.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively partner with production personnel and other stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze complex manufacturing issues and provide innovative solutions.
- Experience in CAD/CAM software and other relevant engineering tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
