Associate Mechanical Systems Flight Test Engineer for the MQ-25 unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) program. Responsibilities include flight test planning, execution, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems. Requires a degree in engineering and the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support the development & execution of detailed flight test plans, including objectives, methodologies, and safety protocols for the MQ-25 program.
  2. Participate in the execution of flight tests. Be the boots on the ground for the mechanical systems team, co-located with the flight test jet(s).
  3. Identify and troubleshoot technical issues that arise during flight testing.
  4. Reach back to the St. Louis based systems team when required to help troubleshoot test execution & system performance issues.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
  • 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
  • Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance
