Associate or Experienced Industrial Engineer

This role focuses on applying industrial engineering techniques to optimize production systems in a manufacturing environment, specifically for nacelle structures. Responsibilities include developing performance visibility tools, data analytics, scenario planning, and improving operational efficiency. It requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to work directly on the shop floor.

What you'd actually do

  1. Applies industrial engineering concepts, approaches and techniques to product, process and services to meet program requirements.
  2. Supports, maintains and develops the development of plant and equipment layouts, capacity plans, accident prevention measures, sequencing of operations and work flows.
  3. Evaluates new techniques and technological developments for integration into the production process and service operations.
  4. Designs, maintains, and optimizes the production system by integrating design, supply base, facilities, equipment, and personnel.
  5. Conducts work flow design and analysis.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 2 or more years work experience in a manufacturing environment as an industrial engineer.

Nice to have

  • Experience in aerospace related manufacturing or production support.
  • Experience with scheduling in Enterprise Resource Planning systems.
  • SQL database experience.
  • Experience with designing building and deploying custom data reports with SSRS, crystal report, tableau, or similar report development experience.
