Associate or Mid-Level Industrial Engineer to join the Industrial Engineering Team. Responsibilities include applying industrial engineering concepts to product, process, and services, maintaining plant and equipment layouts, supporting evaluation of new techniques, designing and optimizing production systems, developing models and databases for data analysis, and assisting with process improvements. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and experience in manufacturing/production environments.

What you'd actually do

  1. Applies industrial engineering concepts, approaches and techniques to product, process and services to meet program requirements of moderate complexity.
  2. Maintains and develops plant and equipment layouts, capacity plans, accident prevention measures, sequencing of operations and work flows.
  3. Supports the evaluation of new techniques and technological developments for integration into the production process and service operations.
  4. Designs, maintains, and optimizes the production system by integrating design, supply base, facilities, equipment, and personnel.
  5. Develops moderately complex models, databases and spreadsheets to analyze data and provides summary analysis and metrics for consultation to leaders.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry
  • Effective time management, communication, and organizational skills
  • 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing and/or production environment
  • 1 year of experience defining, developing, implementing, or improving production processes
  • 1 year of experience working in Microsoft Office Suite products

  • 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing and/or production environment
