What you'd actually do

  1. Plan the purchasing of assigned direct material and issue orders specifying all terms and conditions.
  2. Track the delivery of all items and keep order dates accurate in the system to react to past due supply chain orders.
  3. Place purchase orders and expedite delivery of materials to assure receipt in accordance with production program requirements form approved requisitions.
  4. Maintain purchasing and planning ERP order parameters.
  5. Establish professional relationships with suppliers and work closely with them to ensure good communication and up-to-date data alignment regarding MOQ’s and Lead times for assigned materials.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in International Business, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or any related degree, or soon to graduate
  • Intermediate-Advanced English-speaking level is required.
  • Ability to leverage data-driven decision-making by collecting and analyzing information to support organizational choices that align with strategic goals, using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Proficient in intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office for data analysis and reporting.
  • Skilled in developing long-term procurement strategies and resolving sourcing issues through root cause analysis and effective solutions.
  • Background in Supply Chain with basic knowledge of purchasing and/or procurement processes.
  • Strong communicator with suppliers and internal stakeholders; adept at building and maintaining collaborative relationships.
  • Minimum of 1 year in procurement or indirect purchasing functions, with solid knowledge of the area.
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency in SAP, preferably in the CBS and CGM modules.
  • Previous work with suppliers.

Nice to have

  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (SAP at an intermediate to advanced level preferred)
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Power BI
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Advanced English proficiency
  • Minimum of 2 years in roles related to materials planning.
