Associate Procurement Responsible Sourcing

This role is for an Associate Procurement Responsible Sourcing at Johnson & Johnson. The primary focus is on implementing solutions to minimize supplier risk and enhance the company's reputation through responsible sourcing programs. Key responsibilities include planning and advising on procurement activities related to Health for Humanity goals, managing third-party due diligence, communicating expectations to suppliers, analyzing program metrics, ensuring internal tools are fit for purpose, and managing financial and scorecarding tasks. The role requires collaboration with various internal departments and external stakeholders.

What you'd actually do

  1. Plan and advise the Procurement organization’s activities to deliver against our Health for Humanity goals, legal obligations, and our Responsibility Standards for Suppliers.
  2. Manage the administration of our third-party providers that complete work related to our due diligence, legal filings, and other responsible sourcing commitments.
  3. Communicate J&J's expectations related to the Responsible Sourcing Program to our supply base and support supplier education on environmental, human rights, and supplier inclusion topics.
  4. Ensure timely analysis, reporting, and communication of program metrics and internal/external data insights so programs run smoothly and subject matter experts are supported in strategic decisions.
  5. Ensure the internal tools and solutions used to execute our programs are fit for purpose, including managing changes and upgrades aligned to strategic needs.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4 years of Sourcing, Procurement, Finance or Process Excellence
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Advanced use of CoPilot and other AI tools
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Experience collaborating with internal business partners
  • Sharp focus on delivery through planning, organizing and managing end-to-end tasks
  • High commitment to quality, attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Procurement: understanding of systems, processes, and category management
