Associate Product FP&A role at Netflix, partnering with Product Management, Design, and Tech leads to drive financial and volume forecasting, headcount planning, and financial business case analyses for emerging product areas. What you'd actually do

  1. Lead annual budget planning, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning for the Product Management, Design, and cross-functional Product & Tech leads— including headcount planning and complex operational expenses
  2. Identify financial risks and opportunities to inform forecasts and strategic decision-making
  3. Build regular management reporting, financial reporting, and business presentations for Product and Finance leadership
  4. Develop and evaluate financial business cases for product investments and strategic initiatives, partnering with Product leadership to assess trade-offs and prioritize resource allocation across the portfolio
  5. Collaborate with the Product Management and Design teams on key strategic, operational, and financial analyses in order to drive monetization, member experience, and cost efficiency opportunities

What the JD emphasized

  • 5+ years of experience in a highly analytical environment with extensive experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Excel/Google Sheets is expected

  • Comfort using GenAI tools (e.g., Claude Code) to automate current workflows and reporting
