DoorDash is seeking an Associate, Social Content to manage its social media presence across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts. This role involves creating and executing social-first content, identifying trends, managing community engagement, and supporting marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate has a passion for social media, experience in short-form video creation, and strong instincts for brand voice and engagement.

What you'd actually do

  1. Create and execute social-first content end to end (concept to shoot to edit to publish) across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts
  2. Identify and act on emerging trends, fandoms, and cultural moments in real time
  3. Support reactive, fast-turn content to keep DoorDash relevant in daily conversation
  4. Own community management, engaging with audiences in real time across comments and replies
  5. Maintain and evolve DoorDash’s voice in the comment section, driving interaction, conversation, and shareable moments

Skills

Required

  • Passion for social media, internet culture, and community engagement
  • Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
  • Experience creating short-form video content including filming, editing, and using in-app tools
  • Strong instincts for tone, voice, and how brands should show up in comments and conversations
  • Ability to move quickly and engage in real time with both content and community
