This role is for an Associate Vendor Manager in Consumer Electronics at Amazon Canada. What you'd actually do

  1. Assist in implementing the strategic vision for products on Amazon.ca
  2. Support the management of a P&L, focusing on revenue growth and margin optimization
  3. Contribute vendor relationships, including assisting with terms negotiations and promotional strategies
  4. Help ensure exceptional customer experience across your vendor's portfolio
  5. Assist in developing operational frameworks for inventory management and promotional planning

Skills

Required

  • 1+ years of account management, project or program management or buying experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience using Excel and other business analytic tools
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a complex product ecosystem
  • Attention to detail, particularly regarding product launches
  • Adaptability to thrive in ambiguity and fast-paced retail environment
  • Interest in consumer electronics retail

Nice to have

  • Experience with software and editing tools (including HTML, Excel and SQL)
  • Experience in online retail
  • Experience using analytical specific tools such as Google Analytics, SQL or HTML
  • Usage of generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices.
