Ate Test Development Engineer

NVIDIA is seeking an ATE Test Development Engineer to manage the transfer of GPU, Tegra, and Automotive products from design to mass production. Responsibilities include developing and implementing ATE test programs, enhancing test methodologies for yield and efficiency, debugging product failures with cross-functional teams, and writing scripts/tools to improve productivity. The role requires experience with VLSI testing, the Advantest 93K ATE platform, and DFT techniques.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define, develop, implement, and support ATE test program bringup, characterization and production for our latest GPU/Tegra/Automotive products.
  2. ATE test program development includes constructing or enhancing test methods, debug and integration of timings/levels/patterns/TM and test flow into a test program.
  3. Own test methodologies and strive for continuous improvement of production test program quality/efficiency
  4. Actively participate with multi-functional teams including Product Development Engineering, DFT, and IC design to efficiently debug product failures and implement optimal solutions.
  5. Write and maintain scripts/tools for the test engineering group, enhance the group’s overall productivity and effectiveness

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of proven experience in IC Design, application or ATE testing of VLSI.
  • Working knowledge and hands-on experience with Advantest 93K ATE platform (SmarTest 7 and 8)
