Automation Engineer

This role supports the design, development, and testing of intelligent automation solutions, including AI agents and digital workflows. The engineer will implement predefined agent behaviors, prompts, and integrations under guidance, while also contributing to IT operational services. The role combines emerging AI capabilities with foundational IT operations, enabling gradual growth into more advanced automation and agent development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support the development, testing, and deployment of AI agents and automation workflows
  2. Implement predefined prompts, tools, and simple agent workflows
  3. Assist in integrating AI agents with APIs and enterprise systems
  4. Contribute to experimentation cycles (prompt tuning, evaluation, iteration)
  5. Monitor agent performance and support basic evaluation frameworks

Skills

Required

  • Basic proficiency in Python
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON-based integrations
  • Ability to read, understand, and implement simple scripts and automation logic
  • Introductory knowledge of AI concepts and Large Language Models (LLMs)
  • Understanding of prompt-based systems and agent workflows (basic level)
  • Basic understanding of SDLC and release management practices
  • Exposure to testing, validation, and deployment processes
  • Familiarity with basic evaluation frameworks for AI solutions
  • Strong analytical mindset with structured problem-solving approach
  • Ability to assist in diagnosing issues across software, automation, and IT services
  • Capability to interpret logs, outputs, and system behavior
  • Basic experience with dashboards and monitoring tools
  • Ability to track metrics and support performance reporting
  • Strong learning agility and curiosity for emerging technologies
