Automation Integration Engineer (integrator)-hybrid

The Automation Integration Engineer will lead supply chain automation and robotic system architecture and engineering standards, supporting rollout across a large scale of Supply Chain facilities. This role will drive alignment to standards and specifications in partnership with cross-team engineering teams, business stakeholders, vendor teams, UX designers, and data scientists. The role focuses on material flow end to end, integrating technology seamlessly to improve facility performance and drive engineering improvements for all Supply Chain automation solutions.

What you'd actually do

  1. Transform Target’s material handling automation systems to highly automated systems with robotics and transportation systems that are not tied to or require linear product flow.
  2. The collective team has the responsibility for the definition of the automation system technologies that will be deployed in Target facilities.
  3. This Automation Intelligence and Integration Engineer role will lead supply chain automation and robotic system architecture and engineering standards and support rollout across a large scale of Supply Chain facilities.
  4. This role will influence quality delivery and rollout of design elements and architecture requirements for automation solutions to continuously improve facility performance by integrating technology seamlessly.
  5. As an Engineer for Automation Intelligence and Integration team, you will work in the design and engineering space across existing, new and future automation solutions that align with overall corporate strategies and key business objectives.
