This role is for an Automotive Equipment Mechanic at Boeing Defense, responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining automotive equipment and hydraulic systems. The position requires general automotive service experience and the ability to troubleshoot and correct malfunctions. It is a 100% onsite role with a specific shift requirement and involves performing mechanical repair and maintenance functions.

What you'd actually do

  1. Inspect automotive equipment and hydraulic systems, and perform mechanical repair and maintenance functions.
  2. Troubleshoot and correct malfunctions.
  3. Replace broken, worn and defective parts, and perform overhauls of automotive equipment.
  4. May be required to obtain and perform Pennsylvania State Inspection of motor vehicles.
  5. Perform emergency roadside repairs to disabled vehicles, as applicable.

Skills

Required

  • Valid driver's license
  • 3 or more years of experience with general Automotive service
  • Experience with computers and learning new computer systems

Nice to have

  • Experience with Electric powered Golf Carts and other engine driven equipment
