Seeking a reliable Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team, responsible for maintaining a diverse range of vehicles including diesel, gasoline, and alternative fuel types. Duties include troubleshooting and maintaining various systems like hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electrical systems, and engine controls, meeting D.O.T requirements, and operating standard and manual transmissions.

What you'd actually do

  1. Meets D.O.T requirements required by job assignment
  2. Bends, stoops, squats, kneels, crouches, crawls, climbs ladders and stairs, stands, walks, and turns/pivots frequently throughout duration of workday
  3. Sits infrequently, as required, throughout duration of workday
  4. Exercises simple hand grasping, power hand grasping, fine hand manipulation, and reaching from foot level to above shoulder level as necessary to complete assigned tasks
  5. Operates standard and manual transmission

Skills

Required

  • active driver’s license issued by the state
  • willing to work 2nd or 3rd shifts, including Monday through Friday, Sunday through Thursday as well as Tuesday through Saturday schedules, depending on the location’s need
  • possess the required hand tools required to perform the applicable job assignment
  • Current documented automotive mechanical experience
  • Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools and personal computer

Nice to have

  • Class A/B or A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
