Automotive Technician

This role is for an Automotive Technician responsible for maintaining a diverse range of equipment, including delivery vehicles, heavy-duty on-road tractors, and trailers. The technician will troubleshoot and maintain various systems such as hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electrical systems, and engine controls. The role requires an active driver's license, willingness to work night shifts, and possession of required hand tools. Experience with diagnostic equipment and a CDL are preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. Meets D.O.T requirements required by job assignment
  2. Bends, stoops, squats, kneels, crouches, crawls, climbs ladders and stairs, stands, walks, and turns/pivots frequently throughout duration of workday
  3. Sits infrequently, as required, throughout duration of workday
  4. Exercises simple hand grasping, power hand grasping, fine hand manipulation, and reaching from foot level to above shoulder level as necessary to complete assigned tasks
  5. Operates standard and manual transmission
  6. Operates power and pneumatic tools

Required

  • active driver's license
  • willing to work 2nd or 3rd shifts
  • Must possess the required hand tools required to perform the applicable job assignment

Nice to have

  • Class A/B or A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools and personal computer
