Boeing is seeking a Senior Regulatory Strategy Specialist for their Global Safety & Regulatory Affairs – Autonomous Systems team in Brussels, Belgium. This role focuses on understanding and influencing safety and regulatory developments for autonomous systems globally, with an emphasis on Europe. The specialist will represent Boeing in forums, engage with aviation authorities, and collaborate across the enterprise to ensure the safe integration of autonomous systems into airspace.

What you'd actually do

  1. Act as a key resource for understanding autonomous systems safety and regulatory activities across the globe, with special emphasis on Europe
  2. Represent The Boeing Company in various safety and regulatory forums in the area of autonomous systems
  3. Engage with EASA and other global Civil Aviation Authorities on Autonomous Systems topics
  4. Work across the Boeing Enterprise to leverage existing capabilities and to advance the safe integration of autonomous systems into the global airspace

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Science, Law or Business
  • Willingness to expand into technical areas beyond your area of expertise
  • Ability to develop innovative and novel approaches
  • Open-minded and comfortable working in a teaming environment or as an individual contributor
  • Fluent in both written and verbal English
