This role focuses on the full life cycle development of electrical components for next-generation autonomous haulage systems (AHS 2.0). The individual will provide technical leadership, act as a liaison between product groups and design engineers, and ensure the reliability and quality of these components, managing obsolescence and tracking quality issues. The role requires strong communication, project management, and technical expertise in hardware development, with a preference for experience in autonomy and automation.

What you'd actually do

  1. Be responsible for the full life cycle development of all major autonomous haulage system 2.0 component development.
  2. Be responsible for on-time delivery of AHS 2.0 components to meet machine NPI timelines.
  3. Be the liaison or single point of contact between the Product Group Technical leads and Component Design Engineers for the AHS 2.0 electrical components deeply understanding the product group needs and ensure that the AHS 2.0 components will meet those needs.
  4. Responsible for reliability of the AHS 2.0 components by reviewing validation plans written by the component leads and assisting with the validation execution, as well as tracking of quality issues and managing any obsolescence.
