The Autonomy NPI Program Manager at Caterpillar is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of new product introduction (NPI) projects for autonomous and semi-autonomous driving products and systems. This role involves leading cross-functional teams through Caterpillar's NPI/NTI processes to ensure autonomous platforms, systems, vehicle automation, and field solutions meet company and customer requirements for safety, quality, cost, schedule, and customer readiness, with a focus on mining autonomous systems development and deployment.

Skills

Required

  • NPI or complex engineering project management experience
  • Ability to lead cross-departmental, multi-disciplinary teams
  • Excellent project management, communication, coordination, and risk management skills
  • Fluent English communication and coordination skills
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering or related field

Nice to have

  • Autonomous driving systems, mining equipment, or off-road vehicle NPI related experience
  • Familiarity with Caterpillar NPI / NTI / CPI processes
  • Systems integration, validation, or functional safety background
  • Experience collaborating with global teams, dealers, and mining customers
