Anduril Industries is a defense technology company seeking an AV Systems Administrator to maintain and support their AV infrastructure. The role involves overseeing AV systems, ensuring they are updated and operational, providing specialized support for AV events, designing and installing AV systems, and troubleshooting technical issues. The position requires expertise in AV system administration, familiarity with AV software and hardware, and experience with virtualization technologies.

What you'd actually do

  1. We are seeking an AV Systems Administrator to maintain and support Anduril's AV infrastructure, ensuring all conferencing systems are operational and users are well-trained.
  2. Oversee AV infrastructure across the organization, including hardware in conference rooms, All-Hands spaces, and training rooms.
  3. Keep systems updated with the latest operating systems, software, and applications to ensure availability during business hours.
  4. Provide specialized support for a variety of AV events, from podcasts to large-scale conferences.
  5. Design and install AV systems utilizing a standard design concept across a variety of work spaces.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in AV system administration.
  • Familiarity with AV software and conferencing tools (Zoom, MS Teams, etc.) and editing software (Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, OBS, Wirecast).
  • Knowledge of AV equipment (Mixers, Mics, Cameras, Crestron, QSYS, etc.).
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with capacity to perform under pressure.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience with physical LV, AV, or other IT installation
  • Experience managing contractors for events or construction projects.

  • Experience working with variations of ticketing systems
  • Effective organizational skills, managing your time, tasks, and resources to boost productivity, meet deadlines, and achieve goals
  • Experience with Enterprise/Corporate AV Management Systems
  • Experience in Live Audio and Video Production
