This role is for a Principal AI Sales Specialist focused on driving the adoption of AWS's AI services, particularly Generative AI and Agentic AI, within the GSI & ITES sector in India and SAARC. The individual will engage with C-level executives to bridge business strategy with technical implementation, identify use cases, develop business cases with ROI, and manage sales cycles to achieve revenue targets. While the role requires deep AI/ML expertise and understanding of the AI value chain, its core function is sales and business development, not direct AI model development or deployment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Engage C-suite executives to drive AWS AI services adoption: CEOs (business transformation), CTOs/CAIOs (technical architecture), CFOs (ROI models), line of business owners (use cases).
  2. Drive adoption of AWS full stack AI services (incl., but not limited to Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, Amazon Q, Trainium / Inferentia etc.).
  3. Solution Design & Sales Execution: Structure C-suite conversations on business outcomes that can be delivered using AI.
  4. Identify high-value industry-aligned use cases.
  5. Develop compelling business cases with quantified ROI and time-to-value.

  • Proven experience in sales and/or practitioner roles across end-to-end AI value chain incl. LLMs, foundation models, RAG, model fine-tuning, ML Ops and AI infrastructure (GPUs, custom silicon and accelerated compute)
  • Strong communication skills (simplify complex AI concepts for diverse audiences)

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree, or MBA in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT or equivalent
  • AWS certification
  • Experience leading and influencing your team or organization
  • Experience with Machine Learning and Large Language Model fundamentals, including architecture, training/inference lifecycles, and optimization of model execution
  • Experience working as Chief AI Officer, AI Practice leader or AI Solution Leader
