This role is a Senior AI Specialist Sales professional for AWS, focused on driving adoption of Amazon Quick, a platform for enterprise productivity, analytics, and workflow challenges using Generative AI and Agentic AI. The role involves engaging C-level executives, articulating the value of AI agents and capabilities, developing account strategies, and collaborating with internal teams to close deals. While the role discusses AI/ML technologies and their application, the core function is sales and business development, not direct AI/ML model development or deployment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Engage C-suite executives to drive Amazon Quick adoption: CEOs (business transformation), CTOs/CAIOs (technical architecture), CFOs (ROI models), line of business owners (use cases). Lead AI-focussed Executive Briefing Centers, board presentations, and strategic planning workshops.
  2. Drive adoption and revenue for Amazon Quick as the platform of choice to solve enterprise productivity, analytics, and workflow challenges across industries.
  3. Articulate differentiated value of Quick's AI agents, Spaces, Flows, Research, and embedded analytics capabilities to C-level and technical stakeholders, translating features into quantified business outcomes (ROI, time-to-insight, automation savings).
  4. Develop and execute account strategies that land and expand Quick across Free, Plus, Professional, and Enterprise tiers, identifying up sell opportunities as customers mature from basic chat to full-stack BI, automation, and enterprise governance.
  5. Collaborate cross-functionally with Solutions Architects, Product, and Partner teams to deliver compelling demos, proof-of-value engagements, and enterprise security narratives (HIPAA, FedRAMP, SOC2) that accelerate deal closure.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage experience
  • Experience demonstrating technical breadth in AWS and/or cloud fundamentals
  • Experience in direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives
  • Proven experience in sales and/or practitioner roles across end-to-end AI value chain incl. LLMs, foundation models, RAG, model fine-tuning, ML Ops and AI infrastructure (GPUs, custom silicon and accelerated compute).
  • Consultative selling with discovery, problem framing, solution design.
  • Strong business acumen across financial modeling, ROI analysis, competitive dynamics.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.

Nice to have

  • AWS certification
  • MBA, or Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT or equivalent
  • Experience with AI/ML technologies
  • Experience working as Chief AI Officer, AI Practice leader or AI Solution Leader.
  • Work experience in ISV/DNB/Startup sector with Hyperscalers, Strategy Consulting, Technology consulting arm of Big 4, AI consulting/services firms, GSIs, GCCs, ISVs
