Technical Account Manager (TAM) for AWS Enterprise Support, focusing on customer success in building applications and services on the AWS platform. Responsibilities include acting as a single point of contact, providing expert advice on AWS services, making service improvement recommendations, evaluating operational performance, championing customer requirements, and planning business-critical events.

What you'd actually do

  1. Act as a single point of contact to Enterprise Accounts
  2. Understand your customers outcomes and business goals
  3. Make AWS service improvement recommendations that fit with your customer strategy and architecture
  4. Evaluate, analyze and present periodic reviews of operational performance to customers
  5. Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions, metrics, detailed prelaunch planning

Skills

Required

  • Experience with one or more of the following domains: analytics, security, storage, DevOps, application development, or machine learning
  • Experience in external enterprise customer-facing role as a technical lead, with strong oral and written communication skills, presenting to both large and small audiences
  • 5+ years of experience in similar roles such as a Senior Technical Consultant, Solutions Architect, IT Manager/Engineer or other similar technical roles.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or a related field
  • Experience working with AWS Services
  • Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
  • Experience in budgeting, scheduling and technical workflows
