This role provides technical support for GMP manufacturing of API intermediates and bulk drug substances, utilizing peptide synthesis and purification platforms. It involves understanding scientific principles for scale-up, process improvements, and technical innovation within a cross-functional team. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in scientific disciplines and strong teamwork, technical knowledge, and problem-solving skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Provide support for GMP manufacturing of intermediates and bulk drug substances to supply clinical trials, utilizing peptide synthesis and purification platforms
  2. Work with collaboration partners to complete transfer processes into the Pilot Plant utilizing quality systems.
  3. Understand the scientific principles required for scale-up and development of manufacturing intermediates and bulk drug substances, including the interaction of the chemistry and equipment.
  4. Provide technical support to non-routine investigations including evaluating materials from production in the development model.
  5. Participate in development and implementation of process improvements, including capital expansions and technical projects.
