B2b Sales Account Executive

This role is for a B2B Sales Account Executive at AT&T, focusing on selling mobility solutions and fiber-based broadband to small and mid-market businesses. The primary responsibilities include lead generation, client engagement, account development, consultative selling, and proposal development. The role requires a hunter mindset, strong networking and negotiation skills, and sales experience, with a preference for telecommunications sales. Compensation includes a base salary plus commission, with significant earning potential for high achievers.

What you'd actually do

  1. Actively hunt for new leads within your assigned territory through external networks and cold calling, meeting or exceeding weekly quotas for cold calls and door knocks.
  2. Understand the communication and technology needs of small and mid-sized business customers. Present tailored growth opportunities and efficiencies to both current and potential clients.
  3. Develop new accounts and expand existing ones by establishing and nurturing long-term relationships with customers.
  4. Utilize consultative selling skills to overcome objections, identify key trends, uncover customer needs, and leverage industry knowledge to find and close sales opportunities.
  5. Craft responses for Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and present products and services that can benefit customers.
