B2B Sales Account Executive for AT&T's mobility solutions and fiber-based broadband network, focused on acquiring new small and mid-market business clients through proactive selling, relationship building, and consultative approaches. The role involves lead generation, client engagement, account development, and proposal creation, with a compensation structure based on base salary plus performance-based commission.

What you'd actually do

  1. Actively hunt for new leads within your assigned territory through external networks and cold calling, meeting or exceeding weekly quotas for cold calls and door knocks.
  2. Understand the communication and technology needs of small and mid-sized business customers. Present tailored growth opportunities and efficiencies to both current and potential clients.
  3. Develop new accounts and expand existing ones by establishing and nurturing long-term relationships with customers.
  4. Utilize consultative selling skills to overcome objections, identify key trends, uncover customer needs, and leverage industry knowledge to find and close sales opportunities.
  5. Craft responses for Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and present products and services that can benefit customers.
