This role is for a Medical Information Communication Specialist in the Metabolism Business Unit at Pfizer, located in Nanchang, China. The primary responsibilities include promoting products academically and providing professional customer support within a designated region, under the guidance of a regional manager. This involves visiting clients, communicating drug information, organizing academic promotion events, collecting and analyzing market feedback, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. The role requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field (medicine, pharmacy, life sciences preferred), proficiency in MS Office, good English, strong communication and teamwork skills, and a willingness to learn and self-motivate. Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred. A strong emphasis is placed on integrity, compliance with company policies, industry standards, and anti-corruption laws (FCPA and Chinese laws).

What you'd actually do

  1. In accordance with company policies and procedures, provide timely and accurate professional support to customers and establish partnerships.
  2. Make effective customer visits utilizing resources in accordance with company policies and procedures to achieve work objectives.
  3. Plan and organize various academic conferences or activities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  4. Collect market and customer feedback information through company management systems and other compliant channels, analyze it, and provide feedback and suggestions.
  5. Maintain effective communication with supervisors, colleagues, and business partners from other departments, and identify and promote various cooperation opportunities.
