Backend Engineer III for CrowdStrike's NG-SIEM Global Serverless Platform team. Focuses on building and operating global and regional automation for managing a large-scale event data store and search system. Responsibilities include scaling data ingress, maintaining ingest/search SLAs, developing the control plane in Golang, and ensuring high availability and efficiency of the platform. This role involves working on hard engineering problems in a distributed systems environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Contribute to moving the scalability of our LogScale engine to the next level
  2. Develop the control plane in Golang and extending the control plane capabilities to keep the scale with increasing scale of the platform while ensuring high availability
  3. Monitor and followup on features released in our production environments
  4. Troubleshoot critical production issues
  5. Participate in scoping, designing and developing of new features and lead delivery of solutions to open-ended problems

Skills

Required

  • Experience in software development in general
  • Fluency in both functional and object oriented programming
