Battery Fabrication Tech

This role involves working hands-on in a laboratory/pilot line setting to produce development-level battery cells from raw materials using state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment. The technologist will operate equipment, conduct quality inspections, ensure inventory, and drive continuous improvement of operations and processes. The role requires 100% on-site presence and collaboration with scientists and engineers.

What you'd actually do

  1. Operate state-of-the-art production-level battery cell manufacturing equipment through all stages of cell manufacturing – Hands-On
  2. Conduct quality inspections on parts you’ve just produced
  3. Collaborate with the quality team to ensure full suite of quality checks are conducted and learnings are fed back to cell build team.
  4. Drive continuous improvement of operations and process
  5. Support establishment of procedures and documentation of lessons learned

Skills

Required

  • High school diploma or higher education
  • Available to work 100% onsite
  • Hands-on experience in Production or Prototype manufacturing environment
  • Motivated self-starter and creative problem solver
  • Ability to effectively collaborate & communicate
  • Ability to efficiently utilize Microsoft Office tools

Nice to have

  • Experience in Lithium Ion Battery or Electric Vehicle development
