What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as the primary point of contact for all benefits-related inquiries from employees at our Arsenal-1 production facility, providing clear, accurate, and empathetic assistance.
  2. Conduct new hire benefits orientations, open enrollment meetings, and ad-hoc informational sessions for various shifts, ensuring all employees are well-informed.
  3. Proactively develop and disseminate benefits communications (e.g., flyers, newsletters, intranet updates, bulletin board postings) tailored to Arsenal-1’s culture and communication methods.
  4. Assist employees with navigating benefits portals, completing enrollment processes, and understanding their options during qualifying life events.
  5. Act as a local advocate for employees, troubleshooting and resolving moderate to complex benefit issues with vendors and the broader Benefits Team.

Skills

Required

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in benefits administration, preferably in a fast-paced environment supporting a large employee population.
  • Experience supporting employees in a manufacturing/production, industrial, or multi-shift environment.
  • Solid understanding of common benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401k/retirement plans).
  • Working knowledge of federal and state regulations pertaining to benefits (e.g., FMLA, ACA, ERISA, HIPAA).
  • Willing and able to work on-site at our Arsenal-1 facility in Ashville, Ohio five days per week.
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate complex benefits information clearly and concisely to a diverse workforce, including hourly and salaried employees, both individually and in group settings.
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and take initiative without constant oversight.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve benefits issues effectively.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with HRIS and benefits administration systems (experience with Rippling is a plus). Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Highest level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive employee information.
  • Willingness to wear many hats and support broader People functions as needed in a dynamic manufacturing/production environment.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities
