Bid Program Management Lead

Salesforce Salesforce · Enterprise · Tokyo, Japan

Salesforce is seeking a Bid Program Management Lead for their Public Sector, Education, and Non-Profit markets in Japan. This role involves leading the end-to-end lifecycle of complex RFx proposals, writing and editing technical content, orchestrating cross-functional teams, building a "Bid Engine" with content libraries and policies, and conducting After Action Reviews to improve tactics and explore AI integration for workflow automation and response quality enhancement. The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of experience in bid management, deep understanding of Japan's public sector procurement, native-level Japanese and excellent English skills, and a proactive problem-solving approach. Bonus points for AI vision in the bid process, APMP certification, Salesforce ecosystem knowledge, and experience with unsolicited proposals.

What you'd actually do

  1. Architect the Win: Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of complex RFx (RFI, RFP, RFQ) efforts. You’ll own the strategy, from the initial "Go/No-Go" analysis to the final, polished submission.
  2. Write with Impact: Don't just fill in templates. You will structure, write, and edit technical and functional content that resonates with public sector stakeholders, ensuring every response is creative, compelling, and fully compliant.
  3. Orchestrate Excellence: Act as the central hub for Sales, Solution Engineering, Legal, and Security teams. You will align these diverse voices into a single, persuasive narrative.
  4. Scale the Function: Beyond individual bids, you will build the "Bid Engine." This includes curating a world-class Japanese content library, developing proposal policies, and training internal teams on best practices.
  5. Innovate & Evolve: Lead "After Action Reviews" to sharpen our tactics and explore how AI can be integrated to automate workflows and enhance response quality.
