Board Design Engineer, Lde - New College Graduate

NVIDIA is seeking a Board Design Engineer to join their team. This role involves collaborating with design teams to develop next-generation products including GPUs, DPUs, and CPUs for Graphics, Self-driving platforms, Servers, and Data centers. The engineer will be responsible for design execution, testing, documentation, and interfacing with other engineering teams. They will also research new features and implement industry standards in product development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design responsibility for the creation of new products designed around our GPUs, DPUs, and CPUs to cover Graphics, Self-driving platforms, Servers, and Data centers.
  2. The LDE is responsible for driving every aspect of design execution, initial testing, bringing, and managing the documentation required to release the product to manufacturing and partners. It also serves as the main interface to the Silicon/Thermal/Mechanical/SI/EMC engineers.
  3. The scope of the LDE role has been carefully tailored to allow these individuals to consistently deliver world-class product quality on a challenging schedule while applying great attention to detail and quality of execution.
  4. Research the new feature/circuits/architecture and involve the establishment/discussion of industry standards, then implement them in the next-generation product/platform development.

Skills

Required

  • Completing your bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • Knowledgeable in high-speed signal design rules and power design methodologies
  • Proficiency in digital/analog circuit simulation and fault diagnosis.
  • Exposure or internship experience with design tools (Multisim or equivalent simulation tools, design tools like Cadence, Concept, OrCAD).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Nice to have

  • Prior hardware design experience related to high-speed subsystem design or DC-DC power module design is a huge plus.
