Product Manager (VP) for JPMorgan Chase's Boarding Platform team within Commercial & Investment Bank’s Merchant Services organization. What you'd actually do

  1. Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
  2. Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
  3. Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
  4. Builds the framework and tracks the product’s key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
  5. Monitor and drive product success through performance metrics, customer feedback and manage product issues while ensuring compatibility with evolving technologies

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Demonstrated success in product management roles, within the payments industry, showcasing a strong ability to manage and lead product lifecycles from ideation through to market launch and ongoing optimization. This experience should reflect a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics.
  • Extensive knowledge of payment systems, technologies, and industry trends, enabling the candidate to anticipate and respond to market changes effectively. This includes familiarity with emerging technologies and regulatory environments that impact the payments landscape.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential for driving change and influencing stakeholders across the broader payments organization. The candidate should be adept at articulating a compelling vision, inspiring teams, and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Ability to think strategically with a focus on long-term objectives while executing plans methodically. This involves setting clear priorities, managing resources efficiently, and delivering results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
