Brand Designer

Vanta is seeking a Brand Designer to shape its brand expression across various channels. The role involves creating high-quality brand assets, contributing to the brand identity system, and translating strategy into visual solutions. The designer will collaborate with creatives and cross-functional partners, apply strong typographic and compositional skills, and select visual elements to reinforce brand storytelling. The role also involves exploring new tools, including AI, to enhance craft and speed. Success requires a strong portfolio, proficiency in design tools, and a collaborative mindset. Familiarity with AI design tools and generative workflows is a plus.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design high-quality brand assets across digital, web, campaigns, print. Examples include, but are not limited to: visual explorations for campaigns and social assets, presentation decks, editorial, resorts, sales collateral, and more.)
  2. Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of Vanta’s brand identity system.
  3. Translate creative briefs into visual solutions that align with brand standards.
  4. Develop layouts, visual systems, and scalable templates that improve efficiency and consistency.
  5. Collaborate with other creatives and cross-functional partners to bring work to life.

Skills

Required

  • BFA in graphic design or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in brand design, ideally within an in-house team or agency environment
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong fundamentals in typography, layout, and visual systems
  • Experience working within established brand guidelines and contributing to their evolution
  • A high bar for visual craft and strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Collaborative mindset and comfort working cross-functionally
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future employer sponsorship
  • Open to using AI to amplify their skills and strengthen their work - demonstrating curiosity, a willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with AI design tools or generative workflows
  • Motion literacy (even if not a motion designer)
