Oracle Oracle · Enterprise · MI

This role focuses on the engineering and maintenance of Building Automation Systems (BMS), Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), SCADA, HMI, and OT network systems within data centers. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, supporting system design and commissioning, ensuring operational readiness, and maintaining documentation for critical infrastructure. The role requires experience with industrial automation and OT systems, with a preference for engineering degrees and familiarity with various automation platforms and cybersecurity practices.

What you'd actually do

  1. Independently troubleshoot and support BMS, EPMS, PLC, SCADA, HMI, and OT network systems that monitor and control mission-critical data center infrastructure.
  2. Investigate controls faults, alarm issues, graphics problems, communications failures, and integration defects affecting mechanical or electrical operations.
  3. Support design review, commissioning, startup, and operational acceptance of automation systems for new builds, retrofits, and upgrades.
  4. Review, validate, and improve control logic, sequences of operation, points databases, graphics, alarm behaviors, and network architecture documentation.
  5. Partner with site operations and facilities teams to resolve automation-related issues affecting uptime, maintainability, visibility, or operational response.
