Business Analyst (cost & Investment Analysis)

Seeking a Business Analyst for the Brazil Analytics Center of Excellence within Global Finance Services. This role focuses on providing technical expertise and performing complex accounting work supporting business processes related to investment analysis and decision support. The position plays a critical role in evaluating investments, supporting New Product Introductions (NPIs), and ensuring disciplined capital and cost decision-making across the organization.

What you'd actually do

  1. Perform complex cost, capital, and investment analyses, providing financial guidance to both accounting and non‑accounting stakeholders
  2. Evaluate and advise on capital investment decisions, including economic feasibility, risk assessment, and value creation
  3. Determine Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), payback, and other financial metrics for complex and strategic projects
  4. Provide end‑to‑end New Product Introduction (NPI) financial support, including:
  5. Perform Operating Profit After Capital Charge (OPACC) determination and analysis, ensuring consistency with corporate financial and investment guidelines
  6. Lead and complete Post‑Implementation Audits (PIA), comparing planned versus actual investment results and identifying root causes of variances
  7. Prepare and present investment cases, cost analyses, and financial recommendations to business partners and product group leadership
  8. Actively identify and implement process, cost, and efficiency improvement opportunities, strengthening the quality, speed, and reliability of cost and investment analyses.
