What you'd actually do

  1. Identifying, qualifying and converting new MDI and C2 business opportunities across UK and international defence and security markets
  2. Owning the full business development and capture lifecycle, from early customer engagement through to contract negotiation and award
  3. Building and managing a robust, prioritised opportunity pipeline, with accurate forecasting and Salesforce reporting
  4. Developing deep insight into customer missions, decision‑making processes, budget cycles and operational use cases
  5. Leading and contributing to capture, proposal and bid activity, working closely with cross‑functional teams
  6. Acting as a visible ambassador for NGUK by attending conferences, exhibitions and customer events, positioning the organisation as a thought leader in C2 systems
