Business Development Director (tech/telco)

This role is for a Business Development Director focused on strategic relationships with large Technology and Telco clients in the digital advertising space. The individual will be responsible for cultivating accounts, establishing relationships, communicating the value of the platform, participating in product roadmap discussions, responding to RFPs, identifying up-selling opportunities, and building internal connections. The ideal candidate has a strong sales or marketing background in online advertising, a deep understanding of the Tech category, and proven experience in building client relationships and exceeding revenue expectations.

What you'd actually do

  1. Take ownership for representing 1-2 of our most strategic relationships with The Trade Desk’s largest Technology clients nationally
  2. Work collectively with greater global Sales, Client Services, and Trading teams to cultivate focused accounts and brands
  3. Establish new/cultivate existing relationships with commercial and contract leads at major Advertising clients
  4. Communicate the value of our media buying platform by aligning The Trade Desk’s media buying philosophy and technology with our client’s
  5. Participate in product road map build out discussions based on client needs with senior leadership, product, & engineering
