Business Development Manager role focused on driving growth through managing the business acquisition process, pipeline, and customer relationships within the aerospace and defense industry. Requires experience in data analysis, executive reporting, and a TS/SCI clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Ensure the development, integration and delivery of business unit level operations data, information and products supporting Business Unit and Division reporting requirements, including the integration of dashboards, metrics, and Salesforce pipeline and customer engagement data.
  2. Serve as the Business Unit focal point for tradeshow process and continuous process improvement. Take lessons learned both at the show level, but also specific to leadership to tailor the experience for the attendees to enable the most effective engagements.
  3. Drive execution of strategic initiatives and projects initiated by Surveillance and Targeting Business Unit leadership by working with cross-functional teams and business leaders throughout the organization.
  4. Manage the reporting of business development goals and activities.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of related professional/military experience or a master’s degree and 6 years of related experience
  • Experience in aerospace and defense industry
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
  • Experience with data analysis and executive level reporting/presentation/presence
  • Ability to rapidly build rapport and relationship as trusted advisor to Business Development team
  • Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance

Nice to have

  • Experience in business development, operations, program management, or project management
  • Experience with the business acquisition process (BAP) and/or capture management
  • Experience with the Salesforce Customer Relationship Management tool
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks and projects within critical deadlines
  • Strong data analytic capability and attention to detail and accuracy
