What you'd actually do

  1. Identify and analyze new external business opportunities, including partnerships, licensing, and early-stage acquisition targets aligned with DPS China strategy
  2. Conduct market, competitive, and technology landscape analyses to support opportunity prioritization
  3. Support the development of inorganic growth strategies for DPS China in collaboration with Strategic Support, commercial teams, and regional/global stakeholders
  4. Build and maintain market, financial, and valuation models to assess business potential and risks
  5. Support cross-functional deal teams (Commercial, Marketing, R&D, Finance, Legal, Regulatory) throughout evaluation and execution phases

Skills

Required

  • Experience in business development, strategy, consulting, venture, or commercial roles within healthcare, medical devices, or life sciences
  • Solid understanding of medical device or healthcare technology ecosystems in China
  • Demonstrated ability to perform market analysis, financial modeling, and business case development
  • Strong attention to detail, structured thinking, and high ownership of assigned workstreams
  • Proven ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across functions
  • Clear and confident communication skills (written and verbal) in English and Mandarin
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
