Mistral AI is seeking a Business Development Manager to forge high-value partnerships with tech leaders, accelerating market reach and product integration. The role involves building an ecosystem around Mistral AI products, exploring technological partnership opportunities, rallying internal teams, and supporting strategic initiatives. Requires 5-8 years of experience in business development or strategy, strong technical fluency in AI/software engineering, business acumen, and excellent negotiation/communication skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Help build an ecosystem of partners around Mistral AI Products (Le Chat, Mistral Code, Document AI …).
  2. Explore technological partnership opportunities.
  3. Rally Mistralers around new technological initiatives.
  4. Support complex strategic initiatives.

Skills

Required

  • 5–8 years in business development, TMT strategy, or partnerships, with a focus on B2B, partner/customer-facing roles, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Deep understanding of computer science, AI, and software engineering to engage in technical discussions with partners and internal teams.
  • Strong ability to assess partnership potential, perform financial modeling, and align initiatives with revenue targets
  • Outstanding skills to build relationships, close deals, and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Fluency in English (required)

Nice to have

  • Experience with ISV partnerships, market research, and working in software, consulting, M&A, or VC with a tech focus
  • Background in cloud computing, AI/ML platforms, or data infrastructure
  • French (highly recommended)
