Sigma Computing is seeking a Business Development Representative to join their sales team. This role focuses on identifying and qualifying sales-ready opportunities by partnering with Account Executives, prospecting target accounts, and engaging in consultative selling. The position requires a go-getter attitude, strong communication skills, and proficiency with sales tools. While the company develops an AI apps and analytics platform, this specific role is in sales and does not involve building AI models.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partnering with Account Executives to identify high-priority target accounts
  2. Prospecting, educating, and qualifying those accounts to create sales-ready opportunities
  3. Cold calling contacts and running outbound prospecting sequences in Outreach
  4. Overcoming objections through consultative selling
  5. Becoming a trusted advisor by growing relationships with prospects

  • A 4-year degree or equivalent experience
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Effective time management skills
  • Positive and energetic communication skills (strong phone presence, listening, and writing)
  • Proficiency with corporate productivity tools (email, voicemail, Google Workspace)
