This role is for a Business Development Representative at Vanta, a company focused on helping businesses earn and prove trust through continuous security monitoring. The BDR will be responsible for building sales pipeline through outbound sales efforts, identifying strategic accounts, and coordinating meetings. The role emphasizes understanding Vanta's value proposition, mastering prospecting tools, and using a multi-channel approach. While not directly building AI, the role is open to using AI tools to amplify skills and strengthen work, demonstrating curiosity and responsible application of AI.

What you'd actually do

  1. Have a strong understanding of Vanta’s value proposition and product
  2. Master the process of identifying strategic accounts using tools like Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Outreach, Linkedin Sales Nav, and 6Sense, that will help us move up market
  3. Organize a multi-channel approach to prospecting and and maximize efforts by developing sequences in Outreach
  4. Coordinate meetings on account executive’s calendars and log activities
  5. Efficiently and gracefully counter objections, as well as have excellent interpersonal & technical skills
