Business Development Representative

Salesforce is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to generate new business pipeline through outbound prospecting and account research. This role is part of the Sales Business unit and focuses on identifying and nurturing early-stage opportunities, partnering with core sellers, and identifying key decision-makers. The role emphasizes sales training and career development within the sales organization.

What you'd actually do

  1. Generate new business pipeline primarily through prospecting outbound opportunities
  2. Nurture early-stage opportunities
  3. Gain interest through outbound cold calling across a set of existing Salesforce customers and breaking into net new logos in assigned territory
  4. Partner with core seller to identify and source net new pipeline and assist by researching lines of business and personas
  5. Align with internal account team
  6. Identify key decision makers within new accounts
