Business Development Representative for an industrial digitalization and AI company. The role focuses on identifying and engaging key decision-makers, qualifying inbound leads, and generating pipeline for the sales team. It involves understanding customer challenges, articulating the value of AI solutions, and collaborating with sales and marketing.

What you'd actually do

  1. Take ownership of outbound prospecting activities, identifying and engaging key decision-makers across target accounts through personalised outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, and social media.
  2. Follow up quickly and strategically on inbound leads, qualifying opportunities and ensuring prospects receive a seamless and engaging experience from the first interaction.
  3. Run qualification and discovery conversations with prospects to uncover business challenges, understand customer needs, and assess fit before handing over high-quality opportunities to the sales team.
  4. Partner closely with Strategic Account Executives to build account intelligence, map stakeholders, identify use cases, and develop tailored account strategies.
  5. Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and wider teams to drive pipeline growth and achieve shared business goals.

Skills

Required

  • 2–5 years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, or a similar commercial role within SaaS, technology, or industrial environments.
  • Confidence using modern prospecting tools such as,,, and other sales engagement platforms to build pipeline and engage prospects.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build meaningful relationships through phone, email, social media, and virtual conversations.
  • A proactive, self-motivated mindset with a passion for outbound prospecting, generating opportunities, and driving results.
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for technology, AI, manufacturing, and industrial innovation, with a desire to continuously learn and grow.
  • Highly organised, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment across multiple teams and time zones.
  • Fluent in English
