Business Development Representative

Cloudflare is seeking a Business Development Representative in Sydney, Australia, to identify and research prospective enterprise accounts, conduct outreach, source meetings, and run discovery calls. This autonomous role involves working with Account Executives and cross-functional teams, with a focus on generating pipeline at scale. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in the industry, customer-centric sales skills, and the ability to learn technical concepts.

What you'd actually do

  1. Identify and research prospective Cloudflare accounts in our Enterprise segment (2500 or more employees and/or strategic logos in the region)
  2. Conduct outreach to the appropriate contacts within each account
  3. Source meetings
  4. Run discovery calls using sales qualification frameworks (e.g., BANT and CHIIP)
  5. Develop new business opportunities from paired AEs' named accounts (typically large-scale Enterprise companies)
